Welcome to Barrick's Blooms LLC — a place where a love for dahlias, nature, and community all come together.

I'm Rachel, the heart and hands behind Barrick's Blooms LLC. What started as a simple love of gardening has grown into a small flower farm dedicated to growing and sharing beautiful dahlias with fellow flower lovers. Every plant here is grown with care, curiosity, and a lot of joy.

Our Story

I grew up in Montana surrounded by wide-open skies, rugged landscapes, and farm life. That upbringing gave me a deep connection to the land and a lifelong appreciation for growing things from the earth.

Years later, after facing and overcoming melanoma cancer, gardening became something even more meaningful to me. It became a place of healing, peace, and renewal — a reminder that growth and beauty can come even after life's hardest seasons.

What began as a few rows of dahlias quickly turned into something bigger. Today Barrick's Blooms LLC is a true labor of love that my husband Kevin and I nurture together. Kevin is a mechanical engineer by trade and the steady support behind many of the projects that keep things running here.

Our property, lovingly called Klabo Reserve, has grown into more than just a garden. It's a place where friends gather, neighbors stop by, and flowers bring people together.

What We Grow

At Barrick's Blooms LLC, our focus is simple: grow healthy, beautiful flowers and share them with others.

Here you'll find:

• A diverse collection of dahlias, including unique imported varieties and original seedlings bred right here at Barrick's Blooms LLC.
• Hybridizing work focused on strong plants, vibrant color, and exceptional blooms.
• Dahlia tubers and plants shared through our seasonal website sales and local markets.
• A small roadside flower stand offering simple bouquets on the honor system.
• Tubers donated to local nonprofits and gardening groups to help encourage more people to grow.

Our Philosophy

Barrick's Blooms LLC was never created just to be a business.

It was created to share beauty.

Flowers have a special way of connecting people — neighbors stopping to chat at the flower stand, gardeners trading tips and tubers, friends gathering to admire the blooms. Those moments are what matter most.

We believe gardening helps us grow in more ways than one — in patience, in joy, and in community.

We're proud members of the Puget Sound Dahlia Society, Kitsap Dahlia Society, and the American Dahlia Society, where we continue learning from other passionate growers and sharing what we discover along the way.

Looking Ahead

The future of Barrick's Blooms LLC is full of exciting possibilities.

We're continuing to develop our own dahlia hybrids, participate in trial gardens and shows, and deepen our roots within the dahlia growing community. With the support of friends, family, and maybe one day our children, we hope this little flower farm continues to grow for many years to come.
